We tried to get into the spirit of the season by taking of few pictures of the animals for the Christmas cards...people put pictures of the kids in the cards, right? Well, I think kids are perhaps more cooperative, or at least they stay in the frame a little better. We have a lot of pictures of rat tails. And although the dog looks tortured, she was well rewarded for her few moments in the antlers, so there is no need to report us to the ASPCA.
Harley, the guinea pig, was actually the most dignified subject...either that or he didn't know what was going on but it didn't occur to him to protest the treatment.

The older girls wouldn't even submit to coming out for pictures, so Santa came to them. You can tell how impressed Rizzo was.
Krycek checked Santa out. Sadly, Krycek passed away a few days after the picture shoot, but hopefully she's now where there are no tumors, no Baytril, and plenty of Yogies.
Getting all four boys into the same shot, much less into the wagon, proved impossible...
But they were together in mugging the Grinch. Maybe they'd heard something about Grinch stealing the roast beast.
Calle is either telling Santa what he wants for Christmas or trying to eat Santa's nose.
Now Calle tries for a cute pose to prove that he belongs on the Nice, not Naughty, list.
Metro wasn't sure about being a present.
But Metro and Calle did sit still in the wagon. Unlike Kono and olie, they won't be getting coal in their stockings.
Leather wants to know if any of these are for her.
Pinky has the same idea.
And finding that the presents are actually empty, they commence trashing the set.
Calle must have told Cinnamon Schwartz to try chewing on Santa.
Two rats, three tails...hmmm...
The hat was clearly not made to fit a beagle head.
And Abita was clearly not pleased to play the part of Max in our remake of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Maybe it was she who asked the boys to rough Grinch up a little...
